OVERVIEW
The Dirksen Senate Office Building Infrastructure Improvements project involved the removal and replacement of air handling units and associated systems in multiple mechanical rooms while the building remained occupied and operational. Grimberg performed the majority of work at night to minimize disruption to occupants, installed temporary rooftop air handling units to provide uninterrupted utility service, and phased the demolition and removal of existing units and the installation of new, energy-conserving units and equipment.
