Upgrade Fire Alarm System, Capitol Power Plant, Washington, DC
OVERVIEW
This project involved the replacement of outdated fire alarm equipment in the Capitol Power Plant's West Refrigeration Plant and Expansion Plant. Grimberg installed state-of-the-art smoke detectors, control relay modules, conduit, wire and devices, annunciator panel, heat detectors, notification appliances, and fire alarm control units. The company installed, tested, and brought all new systems and equipment on line prior to shutting down and removing the existing equipment to avoid any interruption to building alarm and life safety operations.
