2003 AGC Washtington Contractor Award

OVERVIEW

This Arlington County Public Schools project consisted of new construction of an approximately 60,000-square-foot, world-class building, primarily comprised of offices and classrooms. Work included demolition of the existing building, building footings, underground piping and utilities, site paving, equipment and structures, stabilization of the existing site, as well as disposal, recycling and salvage of all demolished items.

Serving as prime contractor, the John C. Grimberg Co. (Grimberg) successfully delivered the Langston Facility, which was the first Silver-rated LEED project completed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
