OVERVIEW
The project involved the conversion of two historic and dilapidated housing facilities into state-of-the-art office, command and control, and administrative spaces, each designed to support critical naval architecture, engineering, and shipbuilding programs. Grimberg preserved and protected historic finishes and installed new floors, architectural elements, and finishes designed to match existing historic features, maintaining the character and aesthetic of the 1840s-era buildings.
