OVERVIEW
The Steam Sterilization Plant project involved the new construction of a Bio-Safety Level 4 steam sterilization, chemical, and biological waste processing plant at the National Interagency Bio-Defense campus at Fort Detrick, Maryland. The facility is the first of its kind, includes the largest continuous bio-waste decontamination system in the world, and is the prototype for the next generation of such complexes.
