Renovation of Building 26, Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Maryland
OVERVIEW
Performed with an 8(a) protégé partner, which Grimberg mentored throughout the project, the Building 26 contract involved the conversion of the 50,000-square-foot building into an operations and secure mission analysis facility to house the Goddard Space Flight Center's highest-ranking personnel. The LEED Silver renovation included the construction of office and support facilities, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) space, a weapons storage room, and secure evaluation rooms, as well as the replacement of all building systems and equipment.
