SSA Headquarters Advanced Metering Project, Woodlawn, Maryland
OVERVIEW
The Advanced Metering project involved the installation of over 1,000 energy monitoring meters throughout eight separate occupied, operational buildings at the Social Security Administration headquarters complex. Grimberg accommodated the work schedules and operations requirements of each building while installing the systems, which were intended to make the complex more energy efficient, reduce its environmental footprint, and reduce cost of utilities at the location.
