Design/Build Barracks Renovation Building 8545, Ft. Meade MD
OVERVIEW
Performed with an 8(a) protégé partner, which Grimberg mentored throughout the project, the Building 8545 Contract involved the design/build, LEED Silver renovation of an outdated Army barracks facility into Marine Corps and Coast Guard personnel living quarters. Work included space planning and renovations to all interior architectural systems, progressive collapse design and implementation, and the replacement of all mechanical, electrical, fire protection, security, plumbing, roofing, and structural building systems.
